In partnership with OFE, Alchemy transformed Ilumina in Sydney’s CBD into the ultimate playground for AI-powered imagination. Meta Festival brought together creators, businesses, and innovators for a full-day program that merged live events, hands-on activations, and rich storytelling—all designed to inspire a new era of AI-driven creativity.
Every space, stage, and touchpoint was meticulously crafted to reflect Meta’s vision of connection, innovation, and limitless possibility.
How we did this
Working to an overnight install, Alchemy delivered a suite of bespoke festival builds, including a striking box office, statement welcome arch, bustling coffee shop, branded merch tent, Reels activation zone, and a main stage with three immersive breakout stage backdrops. Each element was designed for both in-person impact and content capture, ensuring the festival lived far beyond the day itself.
Behind the Scenes
With just nine hours to bring the vision to life, our team worked through the night to construct and style the festival’s key spaces. Every build was coordinated for seamless integration with AV, lighting, and branding teams, creating a cohesive and visually stunning environment from the moment the first guest arrived.
